Collect photos you love and share them with your wedding photographers. This is especially important when visualizing your group portraits. These days, photographers are getting very creative with wedding party shots; some use props like umbrellas, and many get dramatic with location settings.
From the photographer's point of view, it can sometimes be difficult to predict how dramatic or goofy brides and grooms want to get. Asking a group of people to run and jump with props, or to lift the bride or groom at inappropriate times can ruin the experience for everyone. Not to mention the photos will suffer.
